His research interests are the characterization of atmospheric pollutants and bio-fuels. Dr. Abegaz has taught at the University of the District of Columbia and Howard University. He will teach Environmental Chemistry and the introductory chemistry courses for science majors. Dr. Abegaz comes to us from Howard University where he occupied a Post-doctoral position at the NOAA Center for Atmospheric Sciences at Howard University. |

Dr. Yousef Ahmadibeni Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry and Geology Dr. Yousef Ahmadibeni has been appointed Assistant Professor of chemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Geology. Dr. Ahmadibeni received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Justus-Liebig, Giessen, Germany and Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran. His research interest involves the study of "Calaxarens as the Building Blocks of Supramolcules". Dr. Ahmadibeni has held teaching positions in organic chemistry at Shahed University in Tehran, Iran and at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran. He will teach organic chemistry, as well as, the introductory chemistry courses for non-science majors. Dr. Ahmadibeni comes to us from the University of Rhode Island where he occupied a Post-doctoral position in the Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Rhode Island. |

Dr. John Winfrey Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry and Geology Dr. John Winfrey has been appointed as a temporary teaching fellow and Assistant Professor of Physics in the Department of Chemistry and Geology. Dr. Winfrey received his MS and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California San Diego, CA. He has extensive experience teaching physics, astronomy, and physical science. Additionally, Dr. Winfrey has worked with various interactive learning methods and other directives to improve student learning in physics. Dr. Winfrey has held teaching positions at the Texas A&M International University, Laredo, TX, the University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY, College of Dupage, Glen Ellyn, IL, Southwestern Michigan College, Dowagiac, MI and South Texas College, McAllen, TX. He will teach the physics classes for science majors, as well as, other physical science classes for non-science majors. Dr. Winfrey comes to us from South Texas College where he taught physical science and coordinated the regional science fair. |

Mr. Anderson teaches courses such as Computer Forensic Applications, Legal and Evidentiary Aspects of Computer Forensics, and Advanced Computer Forensics. |

Her area of special interest within discipline or profession is medical/surgical nursing and critical care nursing. |

Tom received his Master of Library and Information Science in December 2007 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Prior to the pursuit of his library degree, he worked for twelve years as a bookseller. |
